SCAM Notice:
In light of on-going global scams in the language industry and others, EuroContract DOO hereby warns of possible scams and misrepresentations of our company and its official representatives by unauthorised individuals or organisations which may falsely use the EuroContract DOO logo or any (language) variation of the company name (– Translation Centre, – prevodilački centar, etc.) or the names of its officials or associates in an attempt to fraudulently secure unlawful gain on behalf of EuroContract DOO.
How to detect a scam
EuroContract DOO’s official domains are cissee.com and eurocontract.co.rs. Do not trust any representation from Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail or other free e-mail services or any other e-mail address which does not end with @eurocontract.co.rs or @cissee.com. For instance, @recruitment-eurocontract.co.rs, @vendors-eurocontract.co.rs, @bids-cissee.com, @projects-cissee.com and similar e-mail/domain extensions will be fake. No matter how convincing or elaborate a correspondence or e-mail attachments or their content may appear, always check whether the e-mail address is correct. Also, fake websites in an e-mail signature may be re-directed easily to www.eurocontract.co.rs or www.cissee.com giving appearance of legitimacy.
Fraudsters may offer jobs, assignments, agreements, cooperation or similar in exchange for payment of any kind from prospective candidates for employment or any sort of fees (e.g. for work permits, visas, administrative or external agency fees, accommodation deposit, etc.). Fraudsters may also target businesses and individuals, including freelancers, using the logo, stamp or the name of EuroContract DOO, including any of its name (variations) or the name or falsified signature of anyone known to represent or work for or in EuroContract DOO, requesting their CVs and bank details, offering business proposals or transaction using the name of EuroContract DOO, promising to send products or offer services, proposing to participate in special deals or tenders or contract bids on fictitious projects, etc. All financial, registration and other information of EuroContract DOO are publicly available on its website, social media accounts and the Serbian Business Registry, and thus can be easily copied, manipulated or misused for false representation and unlawful gain by non-authorised representatives and fraudsters.
EuroContract DOO does not:
- Send job or any type of business offers from free e-mail services such as Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, etc. or use external, subsidiary or third-party representatives for any matter.
- Request any payment of any kind from prospective candidates or any sort of fees.
- Authorise any individual or any legal entity to either collect money or arrive at any monetary arrangement in return for an assignment or a job or any form of a business offer with EuroContract DOO.
